#002: 5 Annoying Things People Do on Facebook

In this episode, we will be talking about an article that received over 76 thousand shares on Facebook alone, entitled “The 20 Things Your Most Annoying Friends Do on Facebook” by Stephanie Buck. Although all 20 are funny we just wanted to highlight 5 of our favorite annoying things and the life lessons behind them.

  • #1 – yep. I hate that…. (Vague status update).
#2 – the private moment – I saw two people, husband and wife, arguing about the other over Facebook that they are not doing enough around the house to help each other. I didn’t comment, but it was even awkward to read.
#3 – Shared profile – yeah, I still don’t like this. I want to know who is posting and it’s annoying. Sure, I get the accountability factor, but share your passwords and not your profile. Give the partner the openness to log in and read what they are posting if you are that worried.
#4 – Syncing Facebook and Twitter, now that #hashtags are functional on Facebook, don’t annoy me as much — but, yeah, it did annoy me before — AND FINE! I am following you ON TWITTER NOW! Gosh!
#5 – I hate the “chain letter” posts on Facebook, because I am one of those that look and research it on the internet before I comment on the post – and I will comment if I found it isn’t true to squelch the lies from going out… But the truth is, if you don’t share this comment and do a podcast about this within 72 hours, the police will come arrest you and your children. Just sayin’. Just a warning. If you love your family, you will share this comment on Twitter and Facebook — or else!

As far as posting on Facebook, do you know that you can “edit” your post now? I know that this podcast was made earlier in the year, but just mentioning it in case you didn’t know it.

    Love you guys!
