Can you believe 2016 is coming to a close?! What a great and busy year it’s been for us filled various accomplishments. From Dustin running for local government, to Dorothy Anne spear-heading a 15 year class reunion, completing vocal recordings for her debut EP project and Christmas single, and also welcoming our newest member of the family Baby Evan!
Thank you for all your prayers, love and support throughout the year. We are continually overwhelmed by your kindness and generosity.
In the upcoming year we are committed to having a laser focus so we may excel in what the Lord has put in our hearts to accomplish. We want to continue to share our story and testimony to the world. With your partnership, together we can reach thousands for Christ!
Would you join us to start this new year strong by contributing a special end of the year tax deductible gift of $50, $70 or $100 to our ministry Defining Moments?
This is not about “how to prepare for marriage” or “how to meet your spouse”. This is to encourage single people to be single well, and to offer advice to married people on how to love and serve your single friends.
What or Where is your focus?
Our hope should be in Jesus – not in another person or in a certain outcome
Be careful that marriage/parenthood isn’t your sole focus.
Focus on becoming more like Christ. No matter what happens, it’s a win-win. Whether you’re single or married, we all need to become more like Him.
Watch your thoughts! There’s a fine line between dreaming and fantasy. Fantasy can be dangerous.
What are your concepts about life and yourself?
Marriage isn’t a reward for good works. If you’re single, it doesn’t necessarily mean that you did something wrong. Of course, you may not be ready for marriage. The answer is still to become more like Him and He’ll reveal those areas to you.
For over 5 years my wife and I had the incredible privilege to direct and travel with The Remnant team comprised of several amazing actors and musicians at Christ for The Nations Institute (CFNI) in Dallas, TX. In 2009 we produced and directed and original musical written by Timothy A. Taylor called “CFNI The Musical.” This was definitely one of our favorite highlights from our years at CFNI.
CFNI THE MUSICAL (with never-before seen footage)
In honor of the season we at Defining Moments are opening the doors of our YouTube vault to let you view this exclusive never before released video.
It’s our way to saying thank you for all your support thoughout the years and to give you a front row seat to one of our favorite productions.
So come with us as we join Gwen, a first-year college student, on a musical journey through the trials and tribulations of college life. Along the way you’ll meet a cast of eccentric characters who are all trying to get a “Ring by Spring.” With drama, comedy and romance, CFNI The Musical shows that there really is so much more to college life despite six girls crammed into one bathroom!

A Midwife's Perspective of Sharing the Grief of Infant Loss
Written by Amy Allred – Certified Professional Licensed Midwife http://www.blessingsofbirth.com/
As a midwife, it is so difficult to put into words what it’s like to care for a client and her family who are anticipating the birth of a child whose life will be fleeting. Being someone who can’t leave “work” at “work” and knowing that each life is a precious, irreplaceable reflection of the Creator, I grieve each time a client has an early pregnancy loss.
To be chosen to attend the joyful birth of a child – an event that will forever change a family – is an
